Pickleball in Bucyrus, Ohio

Bucyrus has an established local pickleball community with six outdoor courts at Aumiller Park and seasonal indoor play at the Bucyrus Area YMCA. The Bucyrus Pickleball Club organizes recurring morning and evening sessions, so players do not have to rely on showing up at a court and hoping to find a game.

During spring, summer, and fall, organized play moves outdoors to Aumiller Park. Winter play moves inside to the YMCA. All skill levels are welcome at the club's regular morning sessions, making the local group useful for beginners, established players, and visitors looking for people to play with.

Getting Started

New players should start with the Bucyrus Pickleball Club. The club specifically welcomes beginners as well as experienced players, and its regular morning sessions are designated for all skill levels. This gives a new player a direct route into the local playing community instead of having to organize a group before going to the courts.

From May through the fall season, all-skill morning play is scheduled at Aumiller Park on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Winter sessions move indoors to the Bucyrus Area YMCA. See the current Bucyrus Pickleball Club schedule.
